Scope:
This is a technical position within the GMS Software Capability and is a support role for all Sales activities. This person will be responsible for initiating and leading programs from technical perspective to help drive business growth for Rockwell Software products within Greater China. The person will be actively involved with RA Sales and GMS personnel as Software technical pre-sales support.
Essential Functions:
• Serving as the lead technical support contact for Software solution configurations, product launches, and channel training (pre-sales activity)
• Develop personal technical and commercial competencies to be viewed as a leader in Rockwell Software.
• Responsible for initiating and implementing technical support programs, collateral and training to develop business growth for Software products within Greater China by increasing technical competency of RA Greater China Sales, GMS engineers and Channels.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• • A Bachelor’s degree in Automation Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years’ prior experience in a professional Rockwell Software Application is required.
• Experience to develop the Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Database application is required.
• Experience with RA PLCs and fundamental knowledge of other competitive brand PLCs.
• Familiar with industrial networks.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of corporate policies, markets and processes.
• Demonstrate mastery to state-of-the-art technical and industry trends..
