Position Summary:
Applies engineering theories and principles, perform complex work in research and development, including investigation, acquisition, integration and distribution of advanced technologies that support the long-term business strategies of Company.

Principal Duties:
• Establishes research methodology, project objectives and milestones for major technical initiatives;
• Report interim milestones and final results to management. Achieve the projects allocated on schedule with a high level of quality;
• Build a good relationship with the customers, project sponsors, and other research/development labs within Rockwell Automation;
• Collaborate as a team player by appropriately involving others in decisions and plans that affect them, Create an environment encouraging the open exchange of information and viewpoints
• Expand cooperation with the Chinese research and development community in order to provide input on China requirements to global projects;
• Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures

Requirements:
• Ph D or equivalent in an technical discipline(Electrical Engineering, Industry Automation, Computer Science etc)
• Strong technical background on Electric Machines, Power Electronics, Control Theory and Signal Processing;
• Strong technical knowledge of Control Automation products (Power drives, PLC and etc)
• Knowledge on industrial fieldbus technology, wireless communication is a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English and must also be a good communicator.
• Work experience in automation industry is a plus.
• High capacity of creative thinking
