Responsibilities: Dedicate focused effort and resources to provide selling support to key Rockwell Automation accounts. Make sales calls on a periodic basis to keep addressing customers needs as well as to maintain customer relationship. Understand a couple of industries, like metal, tobacco, infrastructure, oil and gas, automobile, food and beverage, water and waste water, and/or power, etc. Be able to track, and work on project opportunities in some of these industries to win order and lead the team to deliver solution. Develop list of prospective customers with Sales manager, studies the approach to be made, make strategy to develop this new customer or new industry. Analyses customer requirements and thorough familiarity with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) products and their functions, develops plans for use of the appropriate Rockwell Automation equipment. Describes customer requirements for the more complicated modifications of Rockwell Automation products, and co-ordinates the efforts of the technical specialists for development of proposals. Support & management of channel partners (Distributors and System Integrators).
Requirements: BS Degree in Automation / Electrical or Computer Science. A minimum of 3-5 years prior good selling experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, Drive or relevant Self-motivated, independent, team worker, good communicator, customer focus, service- orientated. Willing to travel frequently. |
