Job Description:
Position is responsible for technically assisting RA Integrated Condition Monitoring Area Manger to promote Integrated Condition Monitoring products and solutions in the region. Represent the company to the customer, as well as the customer to the company, in all pre-sales and marketing-oriented activities around ICM product and service offerings. Position is required to be knowledgeable of company products/services with specific emphasis on ICM and integration to RA control system architecture. Apply knowledge of ICM products in specific focused industry applications to generate product, service, and system solutions revenue. This includes but not limited to technical support in both pre and post sales, proposal generation for product, services and systems, architecture and solution configurations, presentations at industry, company and technical seminars or roadshows, and developing demos and other marketing collateral.

Position Summary:
In depth understanding of the features and functions of all RA Integrated Condition Monitoring products, services, solutions as well as application and presentation to customers.
• Be able to generate technical product/service and solution configuration and proposal for specific industrial condition monitoring applications, mainly on vibration and balancing of rotating machines
• Keep abreast of technical trends in the industry and other industries as appropriate, and identify new technologies, components, etc. that should be included in the division’s products. Also, identify competitive threats such as technical obsolescence.
• Learn and know RA automation control products, integrated architecture, networks and systems
• Work with industry sales team for industry strategies and technology updates. Assist, support and drive focus with Key Industry Team personnel for greatest exposure and promotion of ICM technologies and services for revenue growth.
• Assist, support and lead development of Industry application stories, wins and references.
• Provide technical support to company marketing shows and exhibitions. Be able to demonstrate features, functions and value-add of RA Integrated Condition Monitoring products,, services, and systems in front of customers
• Be able to do technical presentations in front of customers in product launches, seminars, customer meetings, shows and exhibitions
• Provide pre-sales training for customers in RA Integrated Condition Monitoring related software and hardware (i.e. Odyssey, Enshare, Datapac, Enpac and Dataline instruments, Enwatch and XM).
• Communicate well with customers to understand their needs and provide pre-sales technical consultant, suggestions and solutions to customers
• Be able to collect and download machine information using state-of-the-art offline data collectors and/or online products and system.
• Capability of analyzing machine faults by using RA Integrated Condition Monitoring software.
• Provide detail technical reports and business related reports when needed
• Effectively manages workload using a recognized time management system and may assist subordinates in time management.
• To continually look for ways to improve the company’s current service offering and enhance or develop new offers in this arena.
• Communicate with RA USA Integrated Condition Monitoring team for backup support on complex technical system requirements and configurations
• Work together with post sales delivery team on specific technical issues to ensure correct technical configuration for optimized and deliverable solutions
• To perform other related duties as assigned across regions and/or countrywide
• To provide input and feedback from the market on the customers’ needs and developments in conditioned based monitoring.
• Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business Conduct. Trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.
• Continually review the status of competitive products and related technologies and to submit new proposals for more effective hardware/software concepts for new products. Test and evaluate competitive products as required.
• Interface with the associated business’ marketing personnel providing them input and direction such that their product planning requests are reasonable and achievable.
• Direct a continuing review of developments in the assigned industry, including competitive product designs and new technologies.
• Update customers on all new products, services and technologies as related to customer needs.
• Coordinate the Capabilities Businesses and/or other resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties and product modifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering, other related technical field, or equivalent related experience.
Person should have a minimum of two years of related application technical experience (i.e. Vibration, Balancing, etc.)• Knowledge and skills of balancing and alignment of machinery.
• Technical report writing skills which summarize and detail machine diagnosis.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of RA Integrated Condition Monitoring product offerings and current support policies.
• Attend training sessions when offered.
• Well organized, takes initiative, responsible for quality pre-sales support, good customer communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Understand and utilize computers. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Windows and Office for reporting. Assist customers in corrections to computer related problems.
• Skills and utilization of ancillary technologies i.e. oil analysis, ultra-sonic, thermograph, laser alignment, and balancing.
• Up to 60-80% travel – mainly in China but other countries are possible.
• Visit manufacturing plants in varying temperatures, climates and industries
