Summary: Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) in implementing the corporation’s long-range IT strategy at a country level to enhance the achievement of the company’s goals and financial objectives.
Also responsible for assisting BRM in coordinating all necessary IT services/projects to achieve maximum efficiency and synergy; coordinating the identification and prioritization of required IT initiatives among various operating components.
Scope: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
Act as the interface between IT and business users for the assigned country/counties, Assist internal customer compose IT related business cases and justification Align the business priorities with IT deliverables, IT/IS service/projects governance and ensure processes compliance, Request management and demand management for IT related service/project, Engage and coordinate all proper parties for IT service/project execution, Change management, Services Level Agreement (SLA) Customer satisfaction, Documentation, Assist with local IT staffs administration, Coordination of local vendors, Monitor local IT related changes (e.g. legal changes, taxation, and etc) and inform the BRM IT value promotion and user education.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Act as regional IT representative to communicate with business users Assist internal customer in composing business cases, Assist with ensuring all user requests are properly approved by steering committees as well as by all other proper parties, and ensure all the requests are justified in term of business values or strategically values, Understand and align the business priorities with IT deliverables End-user interface for all IT related services request – infrastructure, application and security, Coordinate IT related activities during acquisitions, the set-up of new location, office expansion, etc. IT project/service engagement, governance and follow-through – escalation channel, Request Management – assist users to prepare all necessary information for their requests, and input into the Request Management System properly, Gathering and documenting user requirements, Coordinate all proper parties (Global IT, APIT, requesters, system owners, and etc) for services/project execution, and follow through the entire process to ensure services/projects are being delivered in a professional manner and fulfill the SLA, SLA negotiation, monitoring /reporting and to achieve creditable level of service that IT provides to business owners & users, Customer satisfaction survey (semi-annual survey, talk fest ), IT value promotion and user education, and also responsible for the communication of the IT strategies to the business users, Communicator for all levels for internal and external, Assist with ensuring compliance of Rockwell IT security and control frameworks, polices, and baselines, Assist with ensuring compliance of other applicable IT related laws (local and international) i.e. Privacy laws, Sarbanes-Oxley etc.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• IT related disciplines, • Experience in Business Process Reengineering / Improvement (Mandatory) • Experience in implementing ERP system – preferably MFGPRO or SAP • Experience in Manufacturing Environment • Experience in Consultancy work will be an added advantage • 3 years of IT service management, operation management or project management experiences • Vendor management experiences |
