SUMMARY:
This position requires an individual with strong technical skills relating to Tire OEM Machine Development.
SCOPE:
The individual will need to support customers on developing, programming, retrofitting, and consulting to tire OEM machine. The individual will team work with the OEM development team at Shenzhen OEM Center and provide consulting support to OEM Sales within the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Provide consulting and engineering assistance to the tire OEM machine customer. This will include PLC and Industrial Networks engineering, motion control, software engineering, MMI development, as well as demo setup.
•Provide on-site engineering service to develop or retrofit Tire OEM machine.
•Provide product and system level telephone support to OEM customer and OEM Sales.
•Assist in the development of curriculums for product and OEM application specific promotional training for internal and external customers. Assist or be the primary instructor for these classes.
•Provide input for OEM market development and technical support.
•Attends, participates in the preparation and presentation of technical papers in industry symposiums and trade shows, as applicable.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor in Engineering Science degree or above.
•4-6 years of experience required in the design and implementation of Tire OEM Machine.
•Under general direction, independently conduct and participate in the research, design and development of OEM machine.
•Extensive PLC and Motion Control related product application experience is required.
