POSITION SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for selling RA Integrated Condition Monitoring Solutions to assigned customers. Represent the company to the customer, as well as the customer to the company, in all sales-oriented activities. Position is required to be knowledgeable of company products/services. Apply knowledge of products, pricing plans, competition, marketing objectives, sales objectives and sales skills to sell company products/services.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, other related technical field, or equivalent related experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Person should have a minimum of two years of related experience (i.e. Vibration, Balancing, etc.).

Coordinate Channel Results
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Call on named or targeted accounts to represent all of the Rockwell Automation ICM Capabilities and close orders.
2.Analyze accounts and develop an account penetration plan to increase customer share.
3.Update customers on all new products, services and technologies as related to customer needs.
4.Develop account relationships at a senior level (leverage and utilize Sales personnel where appropriate).
5.Solve customer problems with Rockwell Automation Integrated Condition Monitoring Solutions.
6.Utilize resources to provide appropriate technical expertise to the customer.
7.Coordinate with “Channels” (i.e. Manufacturers Representatives, Distributors, R-A Sales Engineers, etc.) on account strategy as necessary.
8.Coordinate the Capabilities Businesses and/or other resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties and product modifications.
9.Provide technical or commercial support to the team at a Regional level.
10.Implement new product, services, or solution launches within accounts.
11.Analyze trends and strategies of competitors.
12.Actively seek out and participate in both formal and informal training opportunities to continuously develop technical skills.
13.Manage the development of assigned Manufacturers Reps, Distributors & R-A Sales Engineers in their geography in order to maximize sales & commissions.
14.Analyze geographical account requirements (the accounts not assigned or “Named”) and develop an account penetration plan with the R-A Sales Engineer, Distributor, or Manufacturers Rep to increase Revenues/Commissions.
15.Utilize Regional & HQ Resources (i.e. Application Engineers, Capabilities Team Members, etc.) to provide the necessary level of expertise to close orders & provide technical expertise.
16.Co-Develop Distributor & Manufactures Rep Performance Metrics with RSM & Capability Leader (in concert with Mike Sparks). Where applicable, develop a “Channel Performance Improvement Plan” (Channel “PIP”). Actively train these Channels where appropriate.
17.Facilitate the implementation of New Product, Services & Solutions Launches & Promotional Programs with the “Channel” (R-A Sales, Distributors, Manufacturers Reps, etc.).
18.Assure that we have the appropriate level of Channel “coverage” in a specific territory. Work closely with the RA Capability Manager & Sales/Country Manager on this activity.
19.Demonstrate an understanding of the Channels key business drivers.
