The measuring transducers convert a PT100 / PT1000 signal into a linearized measuring signal 4...20mA (linearity error 0.1%). The units do not use auxiliary energy, they are loop powered.
The sensor is fed by an internal current source. The input of the device is executed in three-wire technique. However, also two-wire and four-wire sensors can be used (cf. Connection diagrams).
*The compensating terminal of the units VT57 (PT1000-Sensor) can be replaced mostly through a wire jumper, due to the high measuring-circuit resistor of >1.000兦 the line-resistor scarcely goes into the measuring.
