The short circuit protected optocouplers are suitable for non-contact switching of valves, brakes, DC contactors, and other loads of up to 3Adc. For higher loads, the admissible output current can be multiplied by simply connecting the outputs in parallel.
Excitation is performed via an optodecoupled input, and is thus isolated from the power part. An LED indicates the switching status.
The supply voltage of the output drivers is 24Vdc. The output drivers are positively switching, permanently short-circuit-proof, and switch loads of up to 3Adc even with a maximum ambient temperature.
The device switches off in case of a supply voltage failure or a short-circuit at the output, and will not be ready to resume operation until the fault has been cleared and excitation has been performed again.
The devices are incorporated in an insulating material housing and can be snap mounted onto TS35
